  1. I found this tool very interactive and appealing for young learners. Through its use, the learners can express their interests and share them with their classmates. This will provide the teacher with broader view about the student's likes and dislikes, and use this information in order for lesson planning.

This input can also be used in order to focus on certain investigation topics, that could be assigned to the students by the teacher. In this sense, it can reinforce the concepts learned in class.

  2. This technological application is wonderful! I really believe that Voxopop is an excellent tool to use with our students as a complementation of what was saw or discussed in class and also for projects or extracurricular activities.

As mentioned in the text above, it allows us to be anywhere at any hour of the day. This is an amazing advantage and also the main fact that it makes students practice their speaking skills. It provides students the freedom to put in practice their speaking skills in discussion of a topic that could be related to their preferences, the opportunity to listen and interact with native speakers and monitor their mistakes by the recordings.

I consider that Voxopop is very innovative and it could provide our students a meaningful learning because it goes out from the typical assignments and way of learning (traditional education). In contrast, it conveys students’ speaking proficiency with originality, becoming education even more interesting, interacting, and engaging for students.

  3. This is great tool to share ideas and practice oral as well as critical thinking skills. This is my podcast about “Victor Manuelle” a salsa singer.

  4. I think technology is a great idea not just for students' interest, but also a marvelous tool to reach all king of learning styles. Voxopop is the best one of all I have seen until now. I am not yet an expert, but I'm sure that it will be really useful for my Portuguese class. Today I did a test then my students could see how it works, and very soon we will be using it often.

  5. This is actually a wonderful tool we can use as teachers to teach our students different topics. I think this is very useful since it gives the students the opportunity of practicing all the skills. Students must be able to practice the writing, reading, listening and speaking skills; grammar is also practiced through this tool. I also liked this tool because it is a great way of having students talking about currently topics.
As we discussed in class, students can participate, reply their classmates and generate valuable arguments which is very important nowadays. Most of time professors teach so many topics but at the end there is no way of practicing what is learnt so I think that using a tool like this is more than enough for them to practice the language.
I tried so many times to record myself but I think it is not working properly.

  6. I was not able to create my own but I gather information about the tool and I believe that its better than a blog I mean you can share about a topic in especific but it feels more personal because you listen the voice of others and it feels like that person took time to answer you
